Our services are free and confidential.

Call specialists are available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week,

365 days a year with translation services in more than 200 languages.

We serve the counties of Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester.

United Way Partners with Hudson Valley Social Care Network

If you or a family member has Medicaid, you may be eligible for extra support through the Hudson Valley Social Care Network.

Call our 211 helpline from anywhere in the Hudson Valley and ask our care navigator to take a quick confidential screening. You may qualify for free help with:

-Housing support, safety accommodations, and utilities

-Food assistance, including home delivery of medically tailored food boxes

-Transportation to critical social services

Success Stories

When my Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) was deactivated, the 211 Helpline connected me with a SNAP Supervisor and I got a new electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card to receive my food stamps.

When my 22-year-old daughter had a mental breakdown and was arrested, I called for help. The call specialist took the time to listen to my story and gave me so many different referrals to help during this difficult time.

My brother has a diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Depression and I was concerned about his financial needs and mental faculties. The 211 call specialist dug into the mine and came up with diamonds. They helped me find more resources than I even knew I was looking for.
