There are many children in need of foster homes in Putnam county and not enough foster parents. From newborn babies to teenagers, no child should have to avoidably live in a residential facility
You can make a difference in the life of a child/children and have a positive impact on your community.
You will get support from the Department of Social Services and other community agencies to make sure that you are able to meet the needs of Foster children.
You will feel good as you will be helping a child/children in need of a safe, loving home.
United Way’s 2-1-1 is partnering with Putnam County Government to get the word out that additional homes are needed for children whose parents are unable to care for them. Financial support and training for foster parents will be provided.
